STAR
My name is Star. I am one of the best lesson horses at Spruce Meadow Farm, although at 14.2 hands I am technically a large pony! I think one of the reasons I'm a favorite lesson horse is because I'm good at lots of things.
Before I came here I lived in Texas and had a couple of babies. I didn't have much training but was very willing to learn. I think being a mommy helped make me a good lesson pony too...I am careful and really watch out for whoever rides me.
I'm also a very good show horse! I behave well and I try hard. I am good at flat work, I jump well and I enjoy going to horse shows. I can do the hunter/jumper shows but I'm also good at dressage and cross country so I like to do events too!
I'm very happy to teach people how to ride and I enjoy my life here.
