CHUBBY

I am a beautiful Shetland pony. I am almost 40 years old and I have been here at Spruce Meadow Farm for over 20 years! I am the official barn mascot and I do all the important jobs around here.

When I get turned out they don't usually bother putting me in the pasture or turnout area because I don't stay in for very long anyway. They figure they'd rather make sure the grain is locked up than have to put the fence boards up again.

Sometimes I'll drag some of the big people around, but I can also be very good when I want to be. I behave very well with handicapped children and when people come to the barn for pony rides.

I am great to take to pony parties because nothing really fazes me. I'm quite famous. I have been to Jim Kelly's house for birthday parties a couple times and have even been in a t.v. commercial!

I like lots of attention and ESPECIALLY treats!
